Vice Presidents Day

Vice Presidents Day 2023 will be held on the 17th of June and will consist of the usual Bowls, Snooker, Dominoes & Buffet. Starting at 12:30 and running through until finished. Please make sure you add your name to the list on the club noticeboard by the 15th of June if you wish to attend.

As with previous years in parallel with Vice Presidents Day, there will be a ladies’ lunch organised in St Annes for wives and Partners and the daytime events will be followed by an After Party held in the club once the main day is finished. This will be an evening of mixed socialising. If you know a lady who would like to attend the lunch then please add their name to the list on the club noticeboard.

Private Birthday Party

On the 10th of June 2023, there will be a private (mixed) birthday party held at the District Club. This is a private event but club members are welcome.

Spring Open 2023

The Spring Open will take place on the 13th of May, please signup on the noticeboard by the 11th of May.

The club has been booked for a private event on the evening of the 18th of May and so will not be available for general use.

Green Opening 2023

The 2023 Green Opening will take place on the 15th of April starting at 1pm (games start 1:30pm) Please sign up on the sheet next to the bar. It will be a President vs Vice President team match (teams picked on the day)

2022 Magic Trip

Following on from the last few years of magic shows we are organising a trip to see Rick Green Magician & Illusionist (as featured on Presidents Day this year) at the House Of Secrets magic bar in Blackpool on Saturday the 3rd of December (the show starts at 8 pm). Tickets are £10 each (members and guests). We need to confirm numbers by the 18th of November so please contact Neil Plummer directly if you wish to attend.

For those interested, we will also try to arrange a meal in Blackpool before the show.

Saturday Night Social

After a very successful evening last month, we will be holding another Saturday night social event. This time it will be Table Bowls and food from a local restaurant. This event is open to members and their guests as previously and will be held on Saturday the 19th of November starting at 6:30 pm please sign up on the club noticeboard so that we have an idea of numbers.

2022/2023 Dominoes

Saturday Night Mixed Social

The first of the Saturday night mixed socials is planned for the 8th October starting at 7 pm, there will be a fun pool competition socialising and food from a local restaurant. Please add your names to the signup sheet so that we can gauge numbers. Guests welcome.

Xmas Draw

This year’s Xmas draw will start on the 1st of October with tickets being available in the club and on the website. The draw itself will take place on the 16th of December at 6:30 pm, and as usual, will give those attending a chance to swap prizes won but not wanted and will include hot food for all attendees.
